Thank you to all of the wonderful cooks, our beautiful Master of Ceremonies (Amanda “Brand Jew” Marks) and the incredible judges (Farmer D, Jenny Levison, Daniel Alterman and Joel Silverman) and especially the TASTERS who came out for our Sukkot celebration and the 2nd tasty local foods cook-off brought to you by Open Jewish Project and the Jewish Food Alliance. We would also like to thank Riverview Farms, Gaia Gardens, AtlantaFresh, Savannah Bee Company, HeBrew and the many other local food growers and producers that provided the stellar ingredients used to craft several of the dishes.
We were all wowed by the inventiveness and deliciousness of the entries, and the competition was close, but the people have voted – and the results are in!

It was wonderful sharing the Harvest Holiday with you in many different ways in our sparkly Sukkah at the Oakhurst Community Garden. Without our design and building team (Chris and Drew) our friends at ModernTribe, Limmud Atlanta+Southeast, Bet Haverim, The Temple, Jewish Family and Career Services, Open Jewish Project, Jewish Kids Groups and a fantastic Atlanta Jewish Music Festival soundtrack, the evening would not have been as fun or beautiful.
