About the Jewish Food Alliance

The Jewish Food Alliance (JFA) is a coalition of Jewish and secular organizations committed to building awareness, skills, knowledge and community around food access, sustainability and culture. JFA develops professional and volunteer leadership around food related programs, strengthens community and advances social justice with programs strongly rooted in Jewish thought, values and tradition. JFA programming promotes and supports organizations in building relationships through community supported agriculture programs (CSAs), incorporates experiential learning through school and community gardens, and integrates Jewish values through curricular integration and large scale community outreach programs.
